CDA Subject Area 5: Gestión de una operación de programa eficaz

Este curso de formación de 10 horas tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los proveedores de cuidado infantil los conocimientos y las habilidades críticas necesarias para la gestión eficaz de programas. Los participantes desarrollarán una comprensión exhaustiva de las funciones administrativas, los recursos comunitarios, la planificación del programa, la gestión del personal y los procedimientos operativos. Al completar este curso, los proveedores de cuidado infantil estarán mejor preparados para establecer programas de alta calidad, eficientes y que cumplan con la normativa, que satisfagan las necesidades de los niños y las familias. Los temas clave incluyen responsabilidades administrativas, aprovechamiento de los recursos comunitarios, realización de evaluaciones efectivas, creación de un plan de negocio, gestión eficiente del personal, mantenimiento de registros precisos y garantía de seguridad y cumplimiento.

B. Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the learner will be able to:

  3. Demonstrate understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an administrator in a child care program.
  4. Identify and use community resources to support learning.

  8. Explain when to report child abuse
  9. Describe ways administrators can observe and assess staff.
  10. Give examples of time management strategies administrators can use to balance record keeping and supervising.
  11. Define what it means for administrators to mentor staff in early education.
  12. Explain the benefits of administrators supporting staff in goal setting.

Criteria to earn CEUs:
Certificates are awarded when the following criteria have been met by the learner:
  1. Class has been paid in full
  2. All material has been reviewed
  3. All review questions and final test have been completed with a passing score of 80% or higher.
Learning Assessment Method:
Learners will be assessed through questions after every section is completed. Learners will not be allowed to proceed to the next section of the training until all questions have been answered correctly. Learners will be presented with a final test composed of true/false and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the training, learners will receive their certificate by email.
Learning Methodology:
Online material will be presented in the form of slides, accompanied with speech. Videos will be used to demonstrate ideas and concepts. Charts and tables will be used for illustration.
Logistics/Required Technology:
A stable internet connection is required for the completion of this course. Users are highly encouraged to take their online course on Google Chrome on either a laptop or desktop computer. Speakers and/or headphones are also required to hear speech.
