More art materials can mean more opportunities for children to explore, create, and express themselves. Through Crayola Cares, eligible local nonprofit organizations can request donated Crayola products for programs serving children, the arts, and education.
Crayola’s direct product donation program serves eligible nonprofit organizations in Lehigh and Northampton counties, Pennsylvania, and Phillipsburg/Warren County, New Jersey. Organizations should review the Crayola philanthropy guidelines before applying. The guidelines list individual child care centers among programs Crayola does not typically support.
Organizations outside the direct service area can explore possible Crayola product availability through Good360, Kids In Need Foundation, or NAEIR. Each organization has its own eligibility rules.
This opportunity provides products, not money for training or operating expenses. Requested products and quantities are subject to availability; Crayola may substitute items or change quantities. Donated products generally cannot be resold unless they were specifically donated for an auction.
Visit the official Crayola Cares page and select Product Donation Requests. An organization may submit one product request per year, so include its anticipated needs in a single request. Crayola asks applicants to submit requests at least four to six weeks before the products are needed and says it responds only to requests it accepts.
ChildCareEd’s Open Heart, Open Art training helps early childhood educators plan open-ended art experiences that support children’s expression and social-emotional development. It is a separate training purchase; Crayola’s product donation does not cover its cost.
Ready to create more opportunities for children? Review Crayola’s guidelines, gather your organization’s anticipated product needs, and submit your request through the official Crayola Cares page.
